The Hongkong-Macau Finale

Now this is the last day of our vacation… At 9:25 in the evening, we will be flying back to the Philippines. But before we finally go back to Macau, my mom’s friend treated us for lunch at The Empire Hotel.

We didn’t expect that they’re taking us to a buffet lunch… After not having a decent meal for days, this is a great way to end our Hongkong trip.

They have a wide variety of appetizers, main course and desserts. They also have Japanese dishes and free flowing coffee and tea…  The food was great but their tea- to die for.
After that sumptuous lunch, we went to see some Filipinos working in Hongkong then head directly to the ferry station…

MACAU
We arrived in Macau at around 4 in the afternoon, since we’re scheduled to leave at 9:25 we still have time to take a tour at the famous VENETIAN HOTEL…
Outside the ferry station, there’s a free shuttle going to the Venetian… ON our way, we were able to pass by the City of Dreams Macau and the Cotai Sands Hotel.

In less than 15 minutes, we're already at the entrance of Venetian Hotel.  Good thing there’s a luggage counter at the lobby of the hotel so we left our things first before looking around.

The interior of the hotel is mostly made up of gold. A beautiful artifact is located at the middle of the hotel lobby and the ceilings are painted with different human images and various designs.

Just across the hallway, you'll find the casino... Didn't took a photo of it though... The full Venice experience, on the other hand, is found at the second level of the hotel.

Now time to experience Venezia... The reason why I went here is because it's my dream to visit Venice. But since that trip requires a lot of preparation, plus a visa requirement, Macau is a closer venue to the fulfillment of my dream.

Venetian Macau Hotel has their own version of St. Mark's Square, also know as the Piazza de San Marco...

And of course, if you're in Venice, you'll never miss the gondola ride at the Grand Canal....

We didn't miss it here too.... The Gondola ride experience is worth MOP118. A round of cruise to the Grand Canal with a gondolier who will serenade you while you enjoy the tour...

The gondola ride was such an experience. Another thing that amazes me about this Little Venice is the ceiling... An improvised sky where the weather is always pleasant...

Also at the 2nd level, you'll find shops and boutiques. Shopaholics would love it here...

After checking the 2nd level, we went to see the exterior of the hotel... The feel of the Piazza  is still present even outside Venetian because it's a replica of the Basilica de San Marco.

Venetian Macau Hotel is a place where you can find everything...Casino, Shops, Restaurants, a place to stay, and a wonderful Venice experience...

Though we didn't get to see lot's of other tourist destinations here in Macau, we were able to at least experience this one great place...

Here are the last photos that I took before we finally leave....

and then time to go home....

We arrived at Diosdado Macapagal Airport at 11:35pm... For passengers with late flights like us, Philtranco Bus still has a trip to going Manila until 12midnight at Php 400( up to megamall) Php450 (up to Pasay).
