Exploring the other side of BICOL

This is my second Bicol trip. The first one, via airphil express but this one, via Cagsawa Bus Transport... We left Manila around 7 in the evening and reached Bicol  at around 5 in the morning the next day...

Cagsawa Bus Transport gave us a comfy ride going to Bicol. We had three stop overs before we could finally reach our destination.

One of our officemates who lives in Bicol is kind enough to give us free accomodation. After that long trip, we rested a bit, took a bath then have breakfast before heading straight to the tour..

We were greeted with this super delicious breakfast... Here's some authentic Bicol Dishes:

 PANSIT BATO

Wonder why it's called Pansit Bato?  Mainly because this Pansit is a dish that originated in the town of Bato in Bicol. We all thought there's some sort of rock or stone in this dish..

SUMAN

This suman is best served with hot chocolate or melted tablea...

We had the most amazing breakfast on our first day in Bicol... And the tour begins....

First stop, Camsur Watersports Complex...

Camsur Watersports Complex or CWC has the largest wakeboarding rink in the country. It has two wakeboarding rinks, one for beginners called the Winch Park and the other one for "PROs". It also has a water obstacle where team buildings are being held... Cabanas, trailers and villas were also placed in the complex to accomodate guests and wakeboarding enthusiasts. There is also a swimming pool, a restaurant and souvenir store/wakeboarding shop. CWC offers free shuttle service to their guests.

There's a very long line of people who wants to experience the boards that's why didn't get to try it ourselves.

After CWC, off to Our Lady of Penafrancia Parish...

This are the front and inside view of Our Lady of Penafrancia (Nuetra Senora de Penafrancia) Parish.
Devotees from all over the Philippines come to Naga every September for a nine-day festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Penafrancia or whom Bicolanos referred to as INA.

After visiting INA, we went to look for a great place for lunch.. And just near the parish, we found BOB MARLIN..

Food was indeed one of Bicol's pride.. Adobo rice, bicol express, laing and many others were pretty good... Lunch is as good as what we had for breakfast...

 Must try! :)

After that wonderful lunch, we're back on the slippery road to meet Rudolf at the DEER FARM.

The view of the Deer Farm is very refreshing, plus the fact that it's raining when we arrived, literally refreshing... :)

Now after taking photos of the view, time to meet Rudolph...

Hmmm, can anyone tell me who rudolph is? Lots of Deers here....

I think, he's the one... Now after seeing them, we headed back to the main entrance. The rain is getting harder...

Our plan was to climb Mt. Isarog but due to heavy rains, we opted to cancel the climb and just went to see the Consocep Waterfalls at the foot of Mt. Isarog.

CAWA CAWA FALLS

TUMAGUITE FALLS

The Consocep Waterfalls is composed of three waterfalls that is located at the foot of Mt. Isarog, Two of which are the CawaCawa and Tumaguite Falls. The 3rd one, we didn't get to see because its already raining hard.

One fun shot before we head back home....

After that long, tiring and fun-filled day...... DINNER TIME!!! :) After dinner, we went to Legaspi for the Magayon Festival Tiangge then went back back home and call it a day...

Day 2, we're off to see the Majestic Mayon Volcano...

This is the view of the Mayon Volcano at the Cagsawa Ruins. Still surrounded by clouds..

Some trick shots at the Cagsawa Ruins. Photographers were scattered everywhere to take your own trick shots..

Next stop, Lignon Hills...

When we reached Lignon Hills, the clouds have gone already and we we're able to see the perfect cone of Mayon Volcano.

Time to have a taste of Bicol's very own Bigg's Diner plus the famous halo halo and of course, Chili Ice Cream...

After lunch, we went to the pasalubong center before heading back to Ligao, Albay and then to Manila at 6pm..
