A Tropical Heaven- Boracay

Tagged as one of Asia's best summer getaway, Boracay truly is a tropical heaven... With its sand as pure and white as powder, tourists from all over the world couldn't get enough of the beach capital of the Philippines.

Getting There:

We booked a flight via Airphil Express and landed at Kalibo Airport...

From Kalibo airport, we took a van going to Sabang port (2hrs drive) then took a boat going to Caticlan (10mins boat ride)...

Accomodation:

We stayed at White Beach de Boracay, Station1.. They have airconditioned rooms with cable tv, private comfort rooms and personal ref. An overnight stay costs Php3000 good for 2 pax.

Food:

Beach=seafoods!!! But if you're a fastfood lover, theres Mang Inasal at D'mall. There's Yellow Cab, Gerry's Grill and starbucks along the beach... Fruitshakes where all over boracay... Restaurants with buffet dinner where all over as well...

Night Life:

Aside from Boracay's fine white sand, another reason why tourists love Boracay is because of it's night life... If you're here to relax, there are places where you can just sit, drink and experience the calmness of the ocean... If you're into music, live bands perform at night.. And if you're the young, wild and free type, you can party all night at some clubs... And oh, your night life will not be complete without seeing the fire dancers...

Looking for some peace and quiet?

 So What we get drunk

Trying out some cocktails here at juice Bar.. We even found a drink called kill the motha fuckin... hahaha!

Soundtrip

But of course, we're on a budget trip so before we explore boracay's nightlife, we already had some drinks at our place...

Activities:

The first activity that we did was Helmet Diving... It was indeed fun! But be prepared, your eardrums might explode...

Island hopping

We went to, I think, five islands including Shangrila boracay.. It was heaven there... Very private, and has a very expensive aura...

SHANGRILA BORACAY

This is the resort that is allegedly owned by Manny Pacquiao. But he refuses to claim that he is the owner.

Snorkeling

I personally didn't enjoy snorkeling here in boracay. Maybe because I already saw what's under the ocean of Palawan.. Plus, the water current is very strong and during the fish feeding, it looks like we attract jellyfish instead of just fish... But it's picture perfect... :)

Other activities include parasailing, zorb ball, flying fihs and atv rider...

Point and Shoot

Boracay, indeed, is a tropical heaven. The proof? Point and shoot...
