Inside The Metro- Food Trip

Pigging out has always been a hobby, so I'd like to share some good food that you can try...:) Let's go around the world, inside the Metro...

Japanese

First stop, Marvin Agustin's famous SUMO SAM Japanese Resto... Have a fine dining experience at a very reasonable price... We've tried their Miso Soup, Maki Salad and Hakiniku Bacon Rice... You can check out their  website http://www.sumosamfoods.com/ for their menu and store locations. If you have Php500-1000, you're good to go...

Another great way to enjoy Japanese food is to try out the menu at PEPPER LUNCH. Their tag line says it all, "Sizzle it your Way! Fine Steak, Great Value". The cheapest on their menu costs less than Php300, not bad for a good meal... For their menu and store locations, you can visit www.pepperlunch.com.ph

Vietnamese

We've checked out two of the most talked about Vietnamese Restaurants here in the Metro... They basically serve the same menu and the taste of the food doesn't differ much either... Prepare Ph300-500 for a good meal...

To Ayala Triangle Garden we go for our 1st Vietnam experience. PHO24 it is.... We ordered fried spring rolls, Vietnam's famous rice noodles and their own version of porkchop...

Next stop SM Mall of Asia for another authentic Vietnamese cuisine at PHO HOA... Again, we ordered the authentic Vietnamese Noodles... http://www.phohoa.ph/

Malaysian, Singaporian, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese and Indonesian

For an authentic Southeast Asian Cuisine, you should definitely try BANANA LEAF. A thousand bucks for two people is enough to enjoy a pleasant dinner here. For starters, we had Roti Canai with Curry dip and then ordered Chicken Curry for the main course... six hundred pesos and we're satisfied.... :)

ITALIAN

Let's begin this trip to Italy at Glorietta 3, North Drive... A Veneto Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante is our first stop... They have a wide range of Italian Cuisine you can choose from... From all kinds of Pizza to all kinds of Pasta, they offer it here... Now here's a look of what we ordered for less than Php3000...
 AVENETO FAMILY PLATTER
 CHICKEN STRIPS
PUTANESCA
 HAWAIIAN PIZZA

BAKED ZITI WITH MEATBALLS

Looking for affordable 20-inch size pizzas for the whole gang? Next stop would be pizza deliveries... Try http://www.brooklynpizza.com.ph/ or http://www.munchpunch.com/pizza-niro-ayala-dela-rosa-1-carpark/menu

 PIZZA NIRO'S 20-INCH PIZZA
BROOKLYN'S 20-INCH PIZZA

And to wrap the Italian taste is my personal favorite... YELLOW CAB's Chicken and Ham Calzone...

Korean

I'm not a lover of Korean food but trying it won't make any harm... I've heard a lot about the bibimbap craze and all other korean dishes and so we went to food choices glorietta and have a taste of Korea at Kim n' Chi. I ordered Omu Rice with Sausage and it doesn't taste bad at all... But i still have to find my tooth for korean food...

American

Nice place, unlimited fries, tasty burgers, and a jukebox, all at Johnny Rockets. Located at Eastwood Mall, Tomas Morato and Burgos, this is surely a cool place to visit.. A bit expensive though, their burger meals range from 400-500 pesos with unlimited fries... http://www.johnnyrockets.com.ph/

Can't get enough of burger and fries but doesn't want to spend so much??? Where else to go but Mcdonalds.. It has been, I think, a habit for filipinos to visit Mcdo anywhere inside the Metro... Aside from their super solve bigmac and quarter pounder comes a latest addition to their menu... The Big n' Tasty burger.. For less than 200 bucks, you have a complete meal..

As much as I would love to have a taste of the world, nothing beats Filipino Food. The FILIPINO Cuisine is something we have to take pride on...

Fely J's Kitchen. Featured on the reality show Ang Pinaka as one of  the best place that caters local cuisine, Fely J's has gained a good reputation in the food industry... Of course, the food lover that I am, didn't miss the chance to experience that. I can order a Dilis rice platter and I'm solved already... But they have a wide variety of menu to choose from. Located at Greenbelt 5, Makati City. The Place looks intimidating but the price is just fine... We ordered 6 dishes plus 2 platters of rice for a price of less than Php3000.

C2 Classic Cuisine. Another fine dining experience here at C2 Classic Cuisine. A bit pricey though, but if you're a filipino food lover with extra cash, go check it out. We ordered fried tawilis, adobo rice platter, mango juice and ensaladang mangga.

I can only afford those fine dining experience once in a while but really the food doesn't have to be expensive to satisfy you... Want evidence? Go to Buddy's Pansit Lukban located in Timog Avenue, The Link, Makati, Kalayaan Ave., Makati and Kakarong, Makati. Famous for their authentic Pansit Lucban, Buddy's offers a variety of menu that you will surely love.. Must try's are sisig, sinigang sa miso, longganisa lucban and of course, pansit.

That's it for now.. I'm getting hungry already so i need to grab some snack.... More food trips coming soon... :)
